I was listening to pundits discuss 'What'll We Do' as an alternative of kicking Joe out of the top job; worrying about donor money drying up, angering Black and Women Voters by hopping over Kamala, and the fact that the delegates now promised to Joe do not have to support whoever Joe (or others) would select to succeed him. This is what popped into my head:
"So why not simply SWAP positions?" Is there anything that says a President can't become a V.P. after he's been President? Maybe no one's considered the possibility, since it would be such a blow to the Ego.
But keeping him in the White House in a different capacity? He might go for that - better than being kicked out for good.
Think about it: donors would be supporting the same ticket, and Joe would be around to offer guidance, at least during his lucid hours. Delegates might be appeased. And hell, no one really expects that much out of a V.P. anyway; it's kinda like the First Lady/Gentleman's roles, no? Plus I'll bet the idea would invigorate the entire Democratic party!
Seems like an awfully simple solution, and it would take far less time (and money) than any alternatives they're currently considering.

Sounds good to me! i kinda thought he might step down after the election and let Kamala run things. We all know there is a TEAM working on everything anyway. Only with Trump did we ever have a President who just fired anyone who disagreed with him.
