I do feel badly for friends in states where counting is not expected to end until some time next week. It would bother me, I think, that my vote didn't really make a difference, after all that?
Hopefully by 2024 every state will have improved their mail-in balloting system. Here in Oregon, voting and tabulation was a piece of Marionberry Pie; and along with California and Washington, we've been patiently waiting for the rest of you here out West.

Or he will be, once they're able to oust him from the White House. What a sad, sad Whiner-Baby reaction from our Commander in Chief. Even if the Senate remains in Republican hands and nothing gets done in the next 4 years, at least we'll HAVE 4 years to try and stabilize the nation, which is going to take TIME.
Plus, I have faith that Joe Biden's past experience in crossing the aisle will only continue, and it can't be any worse than it is now.
Then maybe we old folks won't worry so much about dying.
I posted ONE WORD on Facebook, and I received more comments in an hour than I have ever gotten for painstakingly created blogs. Rejoice. That's all I wrote.
ReplyDeleteYes, and breathe easier because sanity will re-enter the White House. Peace in the nation will take time, but having an adult in charge will help.
