Let's keep the Ukrainian, and Russian, people in our hearts today. Yes, Russians, too; for the average citizen has been so indoctrinated over the decades that they don't know any better.
If you're wondering whether we should keep pouring money into their fight: first off, do you want what we've already spent to have been totally wasted? And secondly, don't forget that there are plenty of megalomaniacs watching.
