Is anyone surprised when public figures are treated differently than the rest of us? Is anyone else sick of it? Apparently the Australians are, and I don't blame them. Tennis player Novak Djokovic is thumbing his Serbian Snoot at their concerns and sacrifices, but I for one won't be surprised if he's allowed to play. All he needs to cement his ignominious place in the sports annals is shed a few tears; people are suckers for that.
The more wrongs we accept, the easier they become to swallow. I was shocked when I learned that there are no longer Winners and Losers in children's games; everyone's a winner. Who's dumb idea was that?!
Who, then, can be surprised over Trump's refusal to admit defeat? Granted, that's not the way games were played in his early days, but he's not about to let any 'loopholes' slip by him, no sirree.
I'll tell you what: to anyone who think's it's OK for Novak to play tennis, Trump to run again or Jussie Smollett to put his neck in a noose, then why not forgive Bill Cosby, Harvey Weinstein and hell, Prince Andrew?
Hypocrites. I'm not even watching the Winter Olympics; not that I ever watch them. Nothing against our athletes, but why don't they just hold the games in the North Pole every four years and be done with politics? If our Government is trying to make a point by not sending officials to a country with no compulsion to squashing human rights into the ground, I'm not going to watch and give them any more credit. I can't believe you aren't, either. You might as well support the Oathkeepers.
So I'll bet Djokovic will play, "Not my fault," yada yada, screw his Personal Choice.
he is an enormous dickhead!!
