Living in a Libran World

That's what I'll be doing from now on.  Every generation seems to go through a Horoscope craze, that's nothing new; but if you want an accurate chart cast you've got to know the precise minute you were born; otherwise it's a crap-shoot.  Even Mom briefly dabbled in the dark arts back in the '60s, which is why I know I'm a Libra with a Scorpio ascendant, whatever that means. Here's a couple clues:

Libra with an ascendant in Scorpio is very erotic, and it seems that all their antics are full of this; they cannot live without erotica. 

Well, that's certainly not me, unless you count my Game of Thrones DVD collection.

While you're capable of being a bit shy, thanks to your distrusting nature, your Scorpio ascendant urges you to be more sociable. Friendship is a highly important value to you. 

I'll go along with that.

Scorpio ascendants have Mars as their Lagna lord. (???) It makes these people natural risk-takers and fearless.

Definitely.  But the most comprehensive, and pretty accurate, I've Google-discovered at this time of the morning is:

Even if you don't know me other than through my prose, you must admit a few of those traits hold water.  Of course, these are my chosen excerpts. since I discounted those I disagree with; but isn't that what we do?

Libra longs for a life of equilibrium and looks for a mate that balances them out. Scorpio rising gives this Libra a more pronounced desire to pursue a mate.  Always ready for a relationship.

Also true, at one time.

A Libra/Scorpio is ruled by passion; they may get into a serious relationship too soon; at least too soon to know if they have true compatibility.  If you are starting out with Libra/Scorpio in a romance, make them go slow on purpose.

I explained to the divorce attorney why I was requesting a lengthy separation instead of a no-nonsense quickie:

"I dated my first husband 4 months before we got married.  I dated my second husband 2 months before we got married.  The next time somebody asks me out I'm going to say, I do."

Like many of you, Covid has taken its toll on some of my personal relationships. I can forgive just as I may be forgiven, but particularly since Covid I feel I'm running out of time, so why waste it with people who no longer give me warm fuzzies?

One thing I have finally acknowledged will be this New Year's Resolution:  I'm only making new friends with other Librans.  My current mixed-scope friendships have defied the odds, and for better or worse those friends accept me.  But the overwhelming majority of my long-term relationships have been with other Librans, so by looking at the numbers alone that should tell me something.

Finding out someone's birthday will be far easier than my other First Date compatibility-determiner:  whether or not the man's taking Viagra; why waste anyone's time? Fortunately I won't have to remember dates for all the astrological signs; only one.
